As before, a maximum of two projected images can be entered each month. The source may be a 35mm slide, digital camera image or scanned image.
The maximum size for digital images will remain 1024 pixels in width and 768 pixels in height with a file size of less than 600K. The email address for submitting digital images has been changed toprojected@dallascameraclub.org. Please use this email for May competition submittals - subject will be Open. E-mail submittal is preferred. CD submittals may still be used. CDs will not be returned unless requested.
Slides will be handled a little differently this year. Submitted slides will be sent to the judges, but the slides may be scanned by the Projected Images Chairperson for presentation at the DCC meeting. The Projected Images Chairperson is setting up the capability to scan slides for members who would like to process their slides for entry as digital images. We will let you know when this capability is ready.
Detailed instructions for preparing and submitting images have been updated. They will appear in the DCC Yearbook and will soon be posted on the Dallas Camera Club website.
