First Place - Advanced Color Print

I shot this image while we were in San Miguel de Allende in April. The owner of our B&B, an artist, had a workroom in the rear part of the building. One day, while walking past the workroom, I saw this grouping of pottery on a shelf and liked the colors and the arrangement of all the items. I enjoy looking for subjects that I refer to as “found still life.” Diffused light was coming through an upper window creating s few shadows. I set the camera to ISO 800, f/4.0 and 1/40 sec. exposure. Fortunately the lens had IS, which provided at least a two stop advantage, allowing me to get a sharp image.
