Potpourri Night

"a miscellaneous collection"

Each year at the first meeting in May, members are encouraged to present their work in themed A-V shows on DCC Potpourri Night. These popular shows allow members to present their images in a story-telling format with sound and effects.

Although there are many software packages out there that will allow you to make shows, Photostage by NCH for Windows PC's and MAC. If you are on a Mac, you might want to take a look at FotoMagico. Other options are PowerPoint (Microsoft), Keynote (Apple), iMovie, and QuickTime. I am sure there are more but that should get you started. Another competent package is Adobe Lightroom.

Please submit your potpourri videos to Don Haig (donhaig@gmail.com) and dennisfritsche@verizon.net by midnight, Sunday, May 12, 2024.  Due to the large size of the video files, send an email to Don containing a link (URL) to your video file on whatever file sharing/cloud storage service you use (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.).  Please verify the link included in your email has permissions set to permit your video file to be downloaded by Don.

When submitting your video, please observe the following guidelines:

·  One video submission per DCC Member

·  MP4 file format

·  Maximum length - 5 minutes

·  Include your name and show title in the filename

·  Include "DCC Potpourri Submission" in the subject line of your email
